Stars visit Penguins as the Robertson brothers meet again
- Nick Robertson and Jason Robertson meet for the ninth time in their careers. Through eight matchups the brothers are tied at five points each, and Nick leads in goals, 4 to 2.1
- Mikko Rantanen factored on all four Dallas goals Thursday at Buffalo and on five straight team goals. A point on the next Stars goal would make six in a row, the first Stars skater to do so since Joe Pavelski in January 2022.3
- Dallas led the NHL with 71 power play goals last season but did not score on the man advantage in its first three games. Roope Hintz scored one Thursday at Buffalo.3
