1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Hockey.com is currently under development. The Service currently provides a waitlist signup for early access to the platform. Once launched, hockey.com will provide hockey-related content, including scores, stats, news, player profiles, line-ups, and community features across multiple leagues. Features and functionality may change as the platform evolves.

3. Waitlist and Early Access

By joining our waitlist, you understand that:

• Early access is provided at our discretion and is not guaranteed
• "OG" perks and exclusive features are subject to change and will be defined as the platform develops
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any early access program at any time
• Waitlist position does not constitute a contract or obligation on our part

4. User Accounts

When you create an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or any related systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access or collect data from the Service without our written consent
• Submit false or misleading information
• Impersonate any person or entity

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Hockey.com Corporation and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. The "hockey.com" name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of Hockey.com Corporation. You may not use our trademarks without our prior written consent.

7. Third-Party Content

The Service may display content from third-party sources, including league data, scores, and statistics. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of third-party content. Third-party trademarks, logos, and names are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HOCKEY.COM CORPORATION SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including intellectual property provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Hockey.com Corporation, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any rights of a third party; or (d) any content you submit or transmit through the Service. Hockey.com Corporation reserves the right, at its own expense, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 days, either party may submit the dispute to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada, as set forth in Section 10. You agree that any claim or cause of action arising out of or related to use of the Service must be filed within one year after such claim or cause of action arose, or be forever barred.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the remaining provisions, which shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its original intent.

16. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, internet or infrastructure failures, pandemics, or other events of force majeure.
