1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Hockey.com provides hockey content across multiple leagues, including scores, schedules, standings, statistics, player and team pages, news, team previews, equipment coverage, and posts from official league and club social accounts. You may create a free account to follow clubs and players, save stories, and choose which emails you receive. Features and functionality may change as the platform evolves.

3. No Offer of Securities

Nothing on the Service constitutes an offer to sell or a solicitation of an offer to buy any securities in any jurisdiction. No securities regulatory authority, including the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) or the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC), has reviewed, approved, or disapproved the contents of the Service.

4. Information You Provide

When submitting information through our forms, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Not use the forms for any purpose other than their intended use

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or any related systems

The "hockey.com" name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of Hockey.com Corporation. You may not use our trademarks without our prior written consent.

7. Third-Party Content

The Service may display content from third-party sources, including league data, scores, and statistics. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of third-party content. Third-party trademarks, logos, and names are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.

8. Affiliate Relationships and Commissions

Some links on the Service are affiliate links. If you follow one and complete a sign-up or a purchase, we may receive a commission from that merchant. Compensation never changes the price you pay.

Affiliate relationships do not determine our editorial content. Where an affiliate link appears alongside coverage, that coverage is written independently of the commercial relationship.

We are not a party to any transaction between you and a merchant reached through an affiliate link. Their goods, services, pricing, availability, and terms are theirs alone, and any dispute arising from such a transaction is between you and that merchant.

9. Embedded Social Media Content

The Service embeds posts and videos published on third-party platforms, using the official embed features those platforms provide. Embedded material is hosted and served by the platform, not by us, and remains the property of its author or rights holder.

We embed a post in order to quote or attribute it as a post. Embedding is not an endorsement of its content, and it transfers to neither us nor you any rights in photographs, video, or other material contained within it.

Embedded content may be edited, restricted, or deleted by the person who published it at any time, and may be unavailable in some regions. We do not control this and are not responsible for it.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HOCKEY.COM CORPORATION SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including intellectual property provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Hockey.com Corporation, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any rights of a third party; or (d) any content you submit or transmit through the Service. Hockey.com Corporation reserves the right, at its own expense, to assume the exclusive defence and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you.

16. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation within 30 days, either party agrees to submit the dispute to binding arbitration administered by the ADR Institute of Canada under its Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in Toronto, Ontario, by a single arbitrator appointed in accordance with those rules. The language of the arbitration shall be English. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in the courts of Ontario, Canada to protect its intellectual property rights or confidential information.

You agree that any claim or cause of action arising out of or related to use of the Service must be filed within one year after such claim or cause of action arose, or be forever barred.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the remaining provisions, which shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its original intent.

18. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of government, internet or infrastructure failures, pandemics, or other events of force majeure.
