Email [email protected] with a link to the story and what you think is wrong. If you have a source that shows the correct information, include it: it helps us check faster.

An editor checks your report against the original sources. If the story is wrong, we correct it as soon as we can.

When a correction changes a fact in a story, such as a name, a number, a date, a quote or what happened, we add a note at the end of the story saying what was corrected.

Typos, spelling and grammar are fixed without a note when the fix does not change the meaning.
