Conor Timmins and Alex Lyon have resumed full practice with the Buffalo Sabres, the team reported Tuesday. Both have been sidelined since the preseason and have yet to play this season.

Timmins is recovering from a lower-body injury, while Lyon has an upper-body injury. Buffalo has not set a date for either player to return.

Coach Lindy Ruff said Timmins needs more practice time after his absence but expects the defenceman back soon. Lyon’s return would give the Sabres another option in goal.
