Michal Postava turned his first NHL start into a victory on Monday, making 25 saves before denying all three Edmonton Oilers attempts in the shootout. The Detroit Red Wings won 4-3 at Rogers Place after twice recovering from a one-goal deficit in the third period.
Lucas Raymond scored the only goal of the shootout. Postava stopped all three Edmonton shooters, Connor McDavid among them, to finish the win.
