Oilers expect Zach Hyman back Tuesday against Kings
Mike Babcock expects the winger to return against Los Angeles after missing time with an upper-body injury.
Zach Hyman could return to the Edmonton Oilers on Tuesday against the Los Angeles Kings. Coach Mike Babcock identified that game as the winger's expected return after Saturday's victory in San Jose, Sportsnet reported.
Hyman played in Edmonton's season opener against Vancouver but has been sidelined since then with an upper-body injury. The 34-year-old rejoined team practice on Friday in San Jose, the Oilers reported.
The club's Friday practice update had not set a date for his return. Babcock's postgame update points to Tuesday, although Hyman's place in the lineup remains an expectation.
Edmonton enters the next game with a 4-0-1 record after winning on Saturday.
