Ottawa coach Travis Green described Ridly Greig as day-to-day with a lower-body injury after the Senators beat Buffalo 2-1 on Wednesday.

Greig came close to dressing for the game, Green said, but was left out of the lineup. Sportsnet reported that he had also missed Tuesday’s practice.

The Senators are scheduled to host the Utah Mammoth on Saturday. Greig’s availability for that game remains uncertain.

Greig has recorded two goals and two assists through 14 appearances this season.
