Evan Bouchard needed 17 games to score his 10th goal of the season, the fewest by a defenceman in Edmonton Oilers history. He reached the mark on Thursday against the Anaheim Ducks at Rogers Place.

Bouchard scored on the power play with 19 seconds left in the first period, tying the game 1–1. Connor McDavid set up the goal.

Paul Coffey held the previous franchise mark. He reached 10 goals in his 22nd game of the 1983–84 season.
