The Philadelphia Flyers host the Ottawa Senators on Saturday, Oct. 17, still searching for their first victory after an 0-6-3 start. The game at Xfinity Mobile Arena begins at 7 p.m. ET and will air on NBCSP.

Philadelphia’s attack has produced 11 goals in nine games. Matvei Michkov leads the Flyers with three goals, while their power play has converted twice in 26 opportunities.

Ottawa arrives at 6-2-0. The Senators won the teams’ first meeting 2-1 on Oct. 8, when Carter Yakemchuk scored the deciding power-play goal with Claude Giroux assisting.

The Flyers lost 2-1 in Detroit on Thursday despite taking the lead through Michkov. Their next challenge is an Ottawa side whose goaltender Linus Ullmark has won his first six starts, allowing no more than two goals in each, according to Field Level Media.

Ullmark made 20 saves before stopping all three New York Islanders attempts in Thursday’s shootout. Shane Pinto supplied Ottawa’s winning attempt. Tim Stützle leads the Senators with five goals and six assists for 11 points.
