Colten Ellis is expected to start Sunday when the Buffalo Sabres host the Vegas Golden Knights at KeyBank Center. NHL.com projects Adin Hill to start for Vegas after Carter Hart made 25 saves in Thursday’s 2–1 win at Detroit.

Buffalo kept its lines from Friday’s 5–2 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets in Saturday’s practice. Ryan McLeod and Louis Crevier could sit out a second straight game. Both played in each of Buffalo’s first 15 games before coach Lindy Ruff scratched them against Columbus.

Ellis and Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen have shared the net during Buffalo’s 4–1–0 run. They have a combined .916 save percentage since Oct. 27.
