Josh Norris scores twice as Sabres beat Blue Jackets 5-2

Norris put Buffalo ahead late in the first period and scored again in the second.

Josh Norris scored twice as Buffalo beat the Columbus Blue Jackets 5-2 at KeyBank Center on Friday. The Sabres won for the fourth time in five games.

Columbus had tied the game late in the first period before Norris restored Buffalo’s lead at 18:10. Buffalo extended its lead early in the second, and Norris made it 4-1 at 9:46 when he finished from in front of the net.

Buffalo added another goal in the second. Columbus scored on the power play with 1:39 left in the third.
