The New York Rangers have sent Joonas Korpisalo to the Hartford Wolf Pack on a conditioning loan. Hartford announced the move Wednesday on its official account.

Korpisalo has missed the start of the season with a lower-body injury, Daily Faceoff reported. The assignment offers him a chance to prepare for his return through the Rangers’ AHL affiliate.
