Parayko remains out as Rangers move Cuylle to centre against Blues
Colton Parayko will miss a second consecutive game; Will Cuylle is set for his first NHL appearance at centre.
The St. Louis Blues will again be without Colton Parayko when they visit the New York Rangers on Tuesday, while New York plans to use Will Cuylle at centre for the first time in his NHL career, according to NHL.com’s game preview.
Parayko is dealing with an upper-body injury. His most recent appearance was against Boston on Oct. 29, when he played 17 minutes, 31 seconds in a 4-1 Blues victory.
Blues coach Jim Montgomery said a return could come Thursday against the New Jersey Devils. That leaves St. Louis preparing for a second consecutive game without the defenceman.
For Cuylle, the position change is set to come in his 265th NHL game. The Rangers will also be missing defenceman Sean Durzi for a second straight contest, NHL.com reported.
