Tuesday’s event at Madison Square Garden includes recognition for Marine Corps veteran Sean Dolan and a $10,000 community presentation.
The New York Rangers will hold Military Appreciation Night at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday, Nov. 3, when they face the St. Louis Blues at 7 p.m. ET, the club announced.
Northwell Health is presenting the event. Marine Corps veteran Major Sean Dolan will be recognised as the Northwell Military Honoree during an in-arena jersey presentation. Staff Sergeant Madison Baldwin of the United States Military Academy at West Point will perform the national anthem.
The Rangers will also recognise Michele Yacovello through their Community Captain programme. The club said the presentation will include a $10,000 cheque on behalf of the Staten Island Giving Circle, a volunteer organisation serving Staten Island residents.
The game will air on MSG Network, with radio coverage on ESPN 880 AM.
