NHL announces Monday night broadcasts for European viewers
The 11-game package begins Nov. 30 and includes 16 clubs, with evening viewing windows across Europe.
European viewers will have another way to watch NHL games live at night this season. The league announced Tuesday that its NHL Monday Night Hockey package will begin Nov. 30, with 11 broadcasts involving 16 clubs during 2026-27.
Games will start in the afternoon in North America to reach evening audiences in Europe. The Monday package joins the league’s existing European weekend broadcasts.
In the UK, the package will be carried by ITV and Premier Sport. Elsewhere, Sweden has TV6, Switzerland has MySports and Slovakia has Dajto. Germany’s partner is Sky Sport, Finland’s is STAR and Czechia’s is NovaAction.
Julie Yufe, the NHL’s executive vice president and managing director, international, said the initiative is intended to make live games more accessible to European fans.
