The Seattle Kraken return to Climate Pledge Arena against the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday, Oct. 20, with Kaapo Kakko and Frederick Gaudreau helping spread the scoring across their lineup. The game starts at 6:40 p.m. PT.

Kakko has eight points through nine games, with two goals and six assists, tying him for Seattle’s points lead. His two assists against Florida on Saturday gave him three multi-point games this season, matching Berkly Catton’s team-leading total, according to the Kraken’s preview.

Gaudreau leads Seattle with five goals. Four of those goals, along with two assists, came in his past five games. He also scored twice in the Kraken’s 6-3 win over Detroit on Oct. 9.

Seattle has 11 players with at least two goals, a total the club said ranks second in the NHL behind Vegas. The Kraken enter Tuesday averaging 3.78 goals per game, tied for fourth in the league.

The Kraken collected seven of the available 10 points across five games on their road trip, with three wins, one regulation loss and one overtime loss. They enter the rematch at 5-3-1 through nine games; Detroit is 3-3-2 through eight.

Seattle listed Kakko alongside Catton and Shane Wright in its projected lines, with Gaudreau between Ben Meyers and Ryan Winterton. Those combinations were projections, rather than a confirmed lineup.
