The Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose announced November Hockey Fights Cancer campaigns Monday, with fundraising for organizations supporting children with cancer.

The Jets’ campaign supports CancerCare Manitoba Foundation and its pediatric clinical trials. It runs Nov. 5-30, ending with the club’s Hockey Fights Cancer game on Nov. 30 at 6:30 p.m. The Jets plan to highlight young ambassadors from the organization and honour them at the game.

The Moose campaign benefits Camp Quality Manitoba, which supports children with cancer and blood disorders and their families. It runs Nov. 6-29, with the team’s Hockey Fights Cancer game on Nov. 29 at 2 p.m. A camper and a Camp Quality representative are scheduled to take part in a ceremonial puck drop.

Both clubs outlined fundraising through signed merchandise and game-day activities. Minor hockey teams can also register their own fundraising games for the Moose campaign.
