Iowa Wild renew KXnO radio deal, outline 2026-27 broadcasts

KXnO will carry at least 60 regular-season games, while Iowa retains full production for its 36 home streams on AHLTV.

The Iowa Wild announced their 2026-27 broadcast arrangements on Sept. 30, confirming a renewed partnership with KXnO for the AHL club's 14th season in Des Moines.

KXnO will air at least 60 regular-season games in full. Every Iowa game will also have a live radio stream on the iHeartRadio website and app. The station's monthly Hockey Gone Wild show will return for seven episodes, featuring interviews with players and coaches.

Iowa will continue producing shows before and after games and during intermissions for all 36 home broadcasts on AHLTV on FloHockey. Jon Schaeffer will host those segments alongside play-by-play broadcaster Ben Gislason. All Wild games will be available through FloHockey.

Mediacom's MC22 will again televise selected games, with Chris Peters returning as an analyst. Iowa listed home games on Oct. 10, Nov. 14, Dec. 5, Dec. 19 and Jan. 16 among the broadcasts already scheduled.

The Wild begin their regular season against the Texas Stars at H-E-B Center at Cedar Park on Friday, Oct. 2. Their home opener follows on Oct. 9 against Rockford.
