Wild seek power-play breakthrough as Admirals visit Iowa
Iowa has gone 27 power plays without a goal heading into Wednesday’s meeting with Milwaukee.

The Iowa Wild will try to end a run of 27 unsuccessful power plays when they host the Milwaukee Admirals at Casey’s Center on Wednesday, Oct. 21. The game starts at 7 p.m. CDT and streams on AHLTV on FloHockey.
Iowa last scored with the man advantage on Oct. 3 at Texas, according to the Wild’s official preview. The Wild enter Wednesday at 3-2-1-1 with eight points, while Milwaukee is 3-1-0-0 with six.
The Wild are coming off a 3-2 loss at Chicago on Sunday. Milwaukee won its most recent game, beating Colorado 2-1 in overtime on Saturday.
Iowa has had only one player score in each of its past two games. The club is 3-0-0-1 when at least two players score, giving the Wild another reason to seek contributions across the lineup.
Fans attending Wednesday’s game will receive a ticket to an upcoming game if Iowa wins, as part of the club’s Wild Wednesday promotion.
