IceHogs seek first home win in rematch with Iowa

Rockford returns to the BMO Center on Friday after splitting last weekend’s two games with the Wild.

The Rockford IceHogs will try to earn their first home win of the season when they host the Iowa Wild at the BMO Center on Friday, Oct. 16. Faceoff is set for 7 p.m. CT.

The teams split their two meetings in Iowa last weekend. Rockford won 2-1 on Friday before the Wild answered with a 4-3 victory Saturday.

Iowa protected its lead after taking a 4-1 advantage into the third period of that second game. The rematch gives Rockford a chance to respond on home ice.

Rockford will stay home to face the Grand Rapids Griffins on Saturday, while Iowa continues its trip against the Chicago Wolves.
