Carolina Hurricanes games will reach more television viewers across the Carolinas through agreements with Cox Media Group and Gray Media, the team announced Oct. 1. The companies will carry 10 Hurricanes Hockey Network broadcasts on local over-the-air stations.

The first broadcast is Friday, Oct. 2, when Carolina hosts the Washington Capitals. The remaining nine games fall between December and April in the club's Saturday Night Hockey package. WRAL and Fox 50 had already been announced as the Raleigh outlets.

Charlotte viewers can watch Friday's game on WAXN TV 64. Gray's stations will carry it in Wilmington on WECT 6.1 and 6.2; Greenville-New Bern on WITN 7.1; Greenville-Spartanburg-Asheville on WHNS 21.2; Myrtle Beach on WMBF 32.1 and 32.3; Charleston on WCSC 5.1 and 5.3; and Columbia on WIS 10.1 and WPAM 18.1.

The club will announce station assignments for subsequent games when they are available. Cox Media Group Charlotte said it will serve as the Hurricanes' exclusive over-the-air outlet in that market during the 2026-27 season.
