Florida left Chicago with a 3-2 victory Sunday after Lars Eller supplied the deciding goal at 17:37 of the third period. His first goal of the season ended a two-game losing streak for the Panthers.

Eller carried the puck into the right circle and fired a wrist shot past Spencer Knight, putting Florida ahead for good at United Center.

Chicago struck first through Ryan Greene at 2:34 of the opening period. Sandis Vilmanis answered at 6:49. Matthew Tkachuk then redirected a Seth Jones shot into the net on a power play at 14:21 to give Florida a 2-1 advantage.

The Blackhawks drew level in the second period when Roman Kantserov scored at 11:15. The teams remained tied until Eller's late finish.

Chicago came away empty on all seven of its power plays. The defeat was the Blackhawks' third in succession, dropping them to 3-8-0. Florida improved to 6-4-2.
