Bordeleau, Boyko sign one-year AHL deals with Rochester
The Americans added forward Thomas Bordeleau and goaltender Talyn Boyko on one-year American Hockey League contracts.
The Rochester Americans have signed forward Thomas Bordeleau and goaltender Talyn Boyko to one-year American Hockey League contracts.
Bordeleau, 24, is entering his fifth professional season. He split last season between Springfield and Utica, recording nine goals and 12 assists in 60 games.
Across 221 career AHL games with San Jose, Springfield and Utica, Bordeleau has 56 goals and 72 assists. The San Jose Sharks selected him in the second round of the 2020 NHL Draft, and he has six goals and 12 assists in 44 NHL games.
Boyko, 23, was selected by the New York Rangers in the fourth round of the 2021 NHL Draft. He made his AHL debut with Hartford during the 2024 Calder Cup Playoffs.
In 10 career AHL appearances, Boyko has a 2-4-2 record, a 2.86 goals-against average, a .906 save percentage and one shutout.
