Blues recall defenceman Theo Lindstein from Springfield

The defenceman returns to St. Louis after recording a goal and an assist in two AHL games.

Theo Lindstein is returning to the St. Louis Blues after a two-game stint with the Springfield Thunderbirds. General manager Alexander Steen announced the recall Friday.

Lindstein had a goal and an assist during that AHL assignment. The defenceman has also played four games for St. Louis this season, with one assist, the Blues said.

St. Louis begins a four-game road trip Saturday in Detroit after beating Boston 4-1 on Thursday to close a 3-2-0 homestand.
