Blackhawks change forward lines before Kings visit

Chicago closes its seven-game homestand against Los Angeles after three consecutive losses.

Chicago finishes a seven-game stay at the United Center when it hosts Los Angeles on Tuesday. The first of three meetings between the teams this season starts at 7 p.m. CT.

The Blackhawks are trying to stop a three-game losing streak. They fell 3-2 to Florida on Sunday and have gone 2-4-0 during the homestand, according to Field Level Media.

Roman Kantserov scored against the Panthers to bring his season total to four goals, tied for the most among NHL rookies. Chicago says all four have come during his past six appearances.

Patrick Kane leads the Blackhawks with seven points, including six assists. Connor Bedard has two goals and three assists in five games after adding an assist Sunday.

Los Angeles arrives after beating the Rangers 6-3 on Monday, its third victory in four games. Each of those wins came on the road, Field Level Media reported.

Chicago is also altering its forward lines. Ryan Greene is moving to the first line and Patrick Kane to the third, according to NHL.com. Oliver Moore is due back after being a healthy scratch Sunday.

The Kings, who did not skate Tuesday morning, have put Mats Zuccarello on injured reserve with an upper-body injury. Alex Turcotte and Kevin Fiala remain unavailable.

CHSN carries the game locally, with ESPN+ available out of market. Radio coverage is on WGN-720-AM and the Blackhawks app.
