TRUE Catalyst NITRO Pairs Adaptive Flex With a Dampened Blade
SMARTFLEX AI and the SRT-D blade are the main design claims, with Canadian pricing and senior T86 stock checked by variant.
TRUE's Catalyst NITRO player stick pairs its SMARTFLEX AI flex profile with an SRT-D blade. TRUE describes these as changes to energy loading and vibration dampening, giving buyers two design claims to examine. What the shaft and blade promise
TRUE describes SMARTFLEX AI as an optimized flex profile and characterises the stick's balance as delivering mid kick performance at low kick weight. That description is more useful than assigning the stick a single fixed kick point. The SRT-D blade's added layer is intended to reduce vibration and improve puck feel, according to TRUE. These are design claims, not results from a Hockey.com ice test. The senior listing also specifies a concave shaft with square corners, a gloss grip and raised texture. Price and curve availability
On 30 September 2026, TRUE's Canadian senior listing started at CA$399.99. Its specification table named T28 and T92 curves. [Source: TRUE](https://www.true-sports.com/en-ca/true-catalyst-nitro-player-stick-youth-3.html).
[Ice Warehouse's product listing](https://www.icewarehouse.com/True_Catalyst_Nitro/descpage-CNIT.html) offered senior T86 variants as well. At the time of checking, both hands of the 85 flex T86 were listed in stock. Availability was narrower at other flexes: the 75 flex and 70 flex T86 were in stock in right hand, while the corresponding left hand options displayed a future availability date. Check the exact hand, curve and flex rather than treating the whole line as immediately available.
Read the weight with its context
TRUE lists 365 g at 60 inches, without identifying the flex for that figure. Ice Warehouse separately lists 365 g for 85 flex and says its measurements allow a five per cent variance. Those descriptions should remain separate; they do not establish one weight for every size.
