TRUE's Catalyst 5X6 goalie stick combines paddle reinforcement with an INVRT flex profile intended for moving the puck. Ice Warehouse positions this model for recreational goalies and identifies its construction as Axenic one-piece, with carbon and fibreglass in the shaft. Those are specific construction details behind the stick's positioning, rather than an independent verdict on its performance.

The paddle receives a redesigned face wrap around both edges. Sports Excellence describes that change as reinforcing the paddle while reducing weight, and says material added in the upper shaft is intended to improve strength and balance. Its listing also specifies a square shaft with a standard shoulder, a gloss finish and a textured shoulder grip.

Ice Warehouse lists SRT2 rib placement through the paddle. The retailer describes the ribs as matching puck-impact points to support the paddle structure. It also describes INVRT as a four-point flex profile designed around the goalie's lower hand position when passing or shooting. Those intended benefits are the retailer's description of the technology; The Lab has not tested this model on ice.

There is a source discrepancy to account for: TRUE's page is headed Catalyst 5X6 Goalie Stick Senior, but its description names the 7X6. We have used listings explicitly identifying the 5X6 to cross-check the construction. No weight is reported here because the sources do not consistently tie a verified figure to the same paddle configuration.

On 1 October 2026, Ice Warehouse listed the T31 Regular stick with a 26-inch paddle at US$169.99 and showed that configuration in stock. Its table also listed 23, 24 and 25 inch Regular variants at US$169.99; the 21-inch version carried its own US$149.99 price. The stock check above applies to the 26-inch configuration.
