CCM Vizion 2026 Changes Its Shaft Shape and Blade Construction
The current Vizion combines a rounded shaft, aluminium reinforcement and three blade stiffness zones, with a senior price of US$419.99.
The 2026 CCM Vizion player stick changes the shape and loading profile of CCM's innovation line. Ice Warehouse describes a move away from the previous model's upper-handle design, while CCM's current specification sheet pairs a rounded shaft with a mid kickpoint and three blade stiffness zones.
CCM calls the shaft geometry “R”, with ALUPLI composite reinforcement and SIGMATEX ST2X carbon weave. ALUPLI adds aluminium layers to the construction. The manufacturer presents those materials as an impact-resistance and durability measure; the specifications do not establish how long a stick will last in a particular player's hands.
The blade is labelled Tri-Force by CCM. Ice Warehouse describes the arrangement as a stiff centre with softer heel and toe sections. That separates the design from a blade described only by a single stiffness rating: the centre, heel and toe have different jobs in the construction.
Ice Warehouse also describes a softer handle and taper around a stiffer middle section in the shaft. Those are construction details behind the mid-kick pitch, rather than results from Hockey.com's own shooting test.
The retailer reports a weight of 360 grams for an 85-flex stick, with its stated five per cent measurement variance. That figure belongs to the measured configuration and should not be applied to every flex or length.
On October 1, CCM's US page listed the senior model at US$419.99. Ice Warehouse listed the same senior price and showed the 85-flex P29 +1/4-inch version in both hands in stock. That is a dated check of those variants, not a promise for every option.
The useful change is a revised shaft and blade layout, with the rounded handle and zoned construction documented in the cited pages. Choosing a flex, curve and length still means checking the exact configuration before ordering.
