CCM TACKS PRO Pads Pair a Shaped Core With Adjustable Strapping

CCM's TACKS PRO senior goalie pads centre the update on two areas: a shaped core and an adjustable connection around the calf. The official launch presentation identifies the FZN 150-V Core, ADPTFIT 360 strapping, Speed Channel and CrossGlide as the pad's main construction features.

The US product page specifies a 150-degree V-shaped pad profile. CCM positions that geometry around coverage in the butterfly and reverse vertical horizontal position. Infinite Power Rebound foam is integrated into the core, while a DRS Dynamic Response System Pro+ landing zone uses a high-density, one-piece construction. These are descriptions of the design and CCM's intended benefits, rather than results from an independent ice test.

The strapping deserves equal attention. CCM describes ADPTFIT 360 as offering two adjustment areas for leg positioning and rotation. GoalieMonkey adds that the calf straps use padded elastic with Air-Knit Mesh. Its description pairs a shallow, loose leg channel with a calf stabilizer that fills space behind the lower leg. Taken together, these details explain where the wearer can adjust the connection instead of relying on a single claim about pad mobility.

For owners of the previous generation, GoalieMonkey identifies TACKS PRO as the replacement for AXIS XF and describes the FZN core as thinner and more streamlined than LiteXCore. It also identifies Infinite Power Rebound foam as technology carried forward from AXIS XF. That distinction separates the changed structure from a rebound material the line already used.

CCM's US store and GoalieMonkey list the senior pads at US$1,999.99. On October 1, 2026, CCM's live variant data showed White pads in 32+1, 33+1, 34+1 and 35+1 in stock and ready to order. Availability is specific to those sizes and colour at the time checked. The Lab has not measured rebound speed, sliding friction or durability for this model.
