Brian's Kryptik Brings Two Pad Profiles and Reinforced Knee Blocks
Brian's documents BRI-FUSE reinforcement and KOROYD protection across Kryptik pads and gloves, with MAX and FLY pad profiles for different butterfly preferences.
Brian's has detailed the construction of its Kryptik goalie equipment, with changes centred on reinforced structure and impact protection. Its [leg pad specifications](https://www.goalies-only.com/product/kryptik-leg-pads/) identify BRI-FUSE reinforcement in the thigh and a redesigned integrated knee block, rather than just a fresh graphic.
Brian's says the multi-density, thermo-reinforced thigh cuff increases rigidity. It also lists KOROYD Advance impact-protection foam inside the knee block. Those are the manufacturer's performance claims; The Lab has not independently measured stiffness or impact absorption. [Brian's pad details](https://www.goalies-only.com/product/kryptik-leg-pads/)
The pad choice is more specific than one standard profile. Brian's describes MAX as having an aggressive pre-shaped knee curve intended to help close the five-hole. FLY uses a linear profile intended for a flexible butterfly position. The listed toe tapers are 87 degrees for MAX and 90 degrees for FLY. Senior sizing runs from 31 to 38 inches, with custom sizing listed separately. [Brian's specifications](https://www.goalies-only.com/product/kryptik-leg-pads/)
The matching [Kryptik Catch Glove](https://www.goalies-only.com/product/kryptik-catch-glove/) has a 40-degree break angle, a stock Double T pocket and two Smart Dials for adjusting hand and wrist tension. Brian's places KOROYD material in the palm and backhand, while BRI-FUSE reinforces the cuff.
On the [Kryptik Blocker](https://www.goalies-only.com/product/kryptik-blocker/), BRI-FUSE reinforces the board face. KOROYD appears in the removable thumb and sidewall pillows and the finger pad. The specification sheet lists a neutral hand position, adjustable fingers and a low, segmented cuff.
For a fitting discussion, the useful starting point is the MAX or FLY shape, followed by the catch glove's break and the blocker fit. The two pad profiles make it worth asking to compare configurations before ordering; the product descriptions alone cannot establish which will feel better on the ice.
Brian's lists starting prices of CA$2,499.99 for the Kryptik Leg Pads, CA$779.99 for the Catch Glove and CA$619.99 for the Blocker. The pages do not provide a dated retail launch announcement. We have not verified variant-level retailer stock, so this is a breakdown of the documented equipment, not a claim that a particular set is available for immediate delivery.
