Winless Flyers visit Bruins with Pastrnak chasing franchise goals mark
Philadelphia is 0-3-2 and still looking for its first win when it plays Boston on Saturday afternoon.
The Philadelphia Flyers are still searching for their first win of 2026-27, and they get the Boston Bruins at 1 p.m. ET on Saturday.
The Flyers are 0-3-2. The Bruins are 3-2-0. The game is on NHL Network and NBCSP.
Scoring has been the problem for Rick Tocchet's team. Philadelphia has six goals in five games. The Flyers are 1-for-15 on the power play.
Philadelphia is also on the front end of a back-to-back. Dan Vladar is expected to start in Boston, with Joseph Woll to follow Sunday at home against the Carolina Hurricanes.
Boston has a milestone in play. David Pastrnak's next goal will be his 423rd for the Bruins, which would move him past Brad Marchand into sole possession of fourth place on the franchise's all-time list and leave him four short of Patrice Bergeron, per NHL.com. Pastrnak had a four-point game on Thursday, with two goals and two assists.
