The Minnesota Wild expect to be without Nico Sturm and Jared Spurgeon when they host the St. Louis Blues on Thursday, Oct. 15, according to the NHL’s lineup report.

Sturm is in concussion protocol after being struck by a shot in Monday’s win against Vegas. Spurgeon is expected to miss his second consecutive game after being scratched ahead of Tuesday’s loss at Winnipeg.

Olli Maatta will also miss a second straight game. Matt Kiersted is expected to make his season debut in his place, according to the Blues’ official preview.

The game at Grand Casino Arena begins at 8 p.m. ET.
