The Minnesota Wild reassigned Carson Lambos to the Iowa Wild on Thursday, Oct. 22, according to NHL.com. Sportsnet also reported the move. The defenceman returns to the AHL after Minnesota recalled him on Sunday.

Lambos did not appear in a game during the recall, Pro Hockey Rumors reported. His return to Iowa accompanied the activation of Minnesota captain Jared Spurgeon from injured reserve.

Lambos had a goal and an assist in six games for Iowa before the call-up, according to Minnesota’s Oct. 18 announcement. He recorded eight goals and 11 assists in 70 AHL games last season.

Minnesota selected Lambos 26th overall in the 2021 draft. He made his NHL debut at Columbus on Dec. 18, 2025, the club said.
