Trevor Connelly Records Three Shots in Vegas Preseason Opener
The 20-year-old winger went scoreless as the Golden Knights beat the Kings 4-2 in Ontario, California.
Trevor Connelly recorded three shots on goal and no points in the Vegas Golden Knights' 4-2 preseason win against the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday, Sept. 19, at Toyota Arena in Ontario, California.
Connelly, a first-round pick by Vegas in the 2024 NHL Draft, was part of the Golden Knights' 66-player training camp roster. He played the 2025-26 season with the Henderson Silver Knights in the American Hockey League.
Jackson Hallum scored twice in the third period for Vegas, including the go-ahead goal. Viliam Kmec had a goal and an assist, Raphael Lavoie also scored, and Marc Gatcomb had two assists. Adin Hill stopped 17 of 19 shots.
Vegas continues its four-game preseason schedule Tuesday at the San Jose Sharks. The Golden Knights then host Utah on Thursday and San Jose on Saturday.
