Suzuki rejoins Canadiens’ top line at practice
Montreal’s captain skated with Caufield and Slafkovsky on Monday after missing five games.
Nick Suzuki practised with Cole Caufield and Juraj Slafkovsky on Monday as the Montreal Canadiens prepared to host Winnipeg on Tuesday. The club reported that its captain joined drills at the CN Sports Complex.
TSN described Suzuki as a full participant. He has missed five games with a hand injury suffered while blocking a shot against San Jose on Oct. 20. Montreal’s original estimate, announced Oct. 22, was a two-to-four-week absence.
The Canadiens have won all five games during Suzuki’s absence. Neither Monday’s club practice report nor TSN’s account confirmed that he would play against the Jets.
