Cole Caufield appeared to put Montreal ahead in the first period against Pittsburgh on Saturday, but the Penguins challenged the goal and won the review. The score returned to 2-2.

The NHL ruled that Kaiden Guhle interfered with Sergei Murashov in the crease. Its official explanation lists the review at 9:26 of the first period.

TVA Sports and Cogeco’s game coverage also reported that the goal was disallowed after Guhle’s involvement with the Pittsburgh goaltender.
