Sirens Lock Up Founding Forward Paetyn Levis Through 2027-28
New York tacks a season onto Levis's deal, keeping one of the franchise's three remaining year-one players in teal.
The New York Sirens announced Wednesday that forward Paetyn Levis has signed a contract extension running through the 2027-28 PWHL season, adding a year onto the three-year deal she originally signed in November 2024.
Levis holds the Sirens' record for most career games played and has missed just one game across her three seasons in New York. She is one of only three players who have been with the franchise since the PWHL's inaugural season, alongside defenders Micah Zandee-Hart and Jaime Bourbonnais.
The 26-year-old from Rogers, Minnesota has 21 career points (9 goals, 12 assists) in 83 games with New York. She set career highs across the board in 2025-26, posting 10 points on five goals and five assists in 30 games.
Levis was a 10th round pick, 57th overall, in the 2023 PWHL Draft after starring at Ohio State, where she was named Tournament MVP and a Frozen Four All-Star during the Buckeyes' 2022 NCAA National Championship run.
With Levis re-upped, the Sirens now have 18 players under contract heading into the season. The forward group includes Anna Bargman, Clair DeGeorge, Emmy Fecteau, Sarah Fillier, Elle Hartje, Kristýna Kaltounková, Denisa Křížová and Makenna Webster alongside Levis. On defense, New York has Lauren Bernard, Maja Nylén Persson, Dayle Ross, Nicole Vallario, Bourbonnais and Zandee-Hart, with Elaine Chuli, Kaley Doyle and Callie Shanahan in net. Forward Casey O'Brien was also protected by the club during the PWHL's Expansion Player Distribution Process.
