Sharks and Barracuda Announced Fourth Annual Bay Area Tour
The Sharks Around the Bay player tour was scheduled for September 4–13, 2026, opening in Oakland, with Barracuda players joining the stops.
The San Jose Sharks and their AHL affiliate, the San Jose Barracuda, announced the fourth annual Sharks Around the Bay community tour for September 4–13, 2026, with players scheduled to fan out across the region for autographs, photos and meet-and-greets before the season starts.
The announced tour ran through Sunday, September 13. Scheduled stops include Oakland (September 4), San Jose (September 5), Gilroy (September 6), Cupertino (September 8), Dublin (September 10), San Francisco (September 11), Mountain View (September 12) and San Jose again on the final day.
The September 4 opening day listed two Oakland stops. Dmitry Orlov and Nolan Allan were scheduled for Sharks Ice Oakland from 3 to 4 p.m., with Sam Dickinson and Leo Sahlin-Wallenius appearing at Oakland First Friday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Cam Lund and Ethan Cardwell were scheduled for Arteaga's in Gilroy on September 6, and Mason Marchment and Ty Dellandrea were listed for Sharks Ice at San Jose the same day. The updated schedule also listed Yaroslav Askarov and Igor Chernyshov in Fremont on September 9; Eric Pohlkamp and Michael Misa in Dublin; Zack Ostapchuk and Patrick Giles in San Francisco; Jacob Trouba and Michael Kesselring in Mountain View; and Tyler Toffoli and Barclay Goodrow at Viva Calle. The club notes that dates, locations and player appearances are all subject to change.
The announced September 5 stop, Kristi Yamaguchi's Family Literacy Festival at the Children's Discovery Museum, was a ticketed event and closed to the public.
Activities vary by location but include giveaways, ticket offers, information on upcoming Sharks and Barracuda games, and details on events at SAP Center and Tech CU Arena, the Barracuda's home rink. The San Jose Sharks Street Team will continue holding events around the Bay Area through the rest of the month.
The Sharks host the Florida Panthers on opening night, October 1, at 7 p.m. at SAP Center.
