







Rockford IceHogs Announce 2026-27 AHL Schedule
The IceHogs will open their 28th season at home against Milwaukee on October 3.

The Rockford IceHogs released their full 2026-27 regular season schedule on July 9, with the home opener set for Saturday, October 3 against the Milwaukee Admirals at the BMO Center, according to icehogs.com.
The 72-game slate marks the team's 28th season and 20th as the AHL affiliate of the Chicago Blackhawks. Rockford will face 11 different opponents, including five out-of-division clubs: the Bakersfield Condors, Hartford Wolf Pack, Providence Bruins, Toronto Marlies, and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, per oursportscentral.com.
The IceHogs will play 58 of their 72 games against Central Division opponents. They face the Chicago Wolves 12 times, including six home matchups, and meet the Milwaukee Admirals 10 times total, split evenly between Rockford and Wisconsin.
Twenty-eight of Rockford's 36 home dates fall on weekends: 10 Fridays, 11 Saturdays, and seven Sundays. Nine weekends will feature multiple home games at the BMO Center. The season concludes on Saturday, April 10, when the IceHogs host the Wolves.
Last season, the IceHogs opened at home on October 11 with a 3-2 overtime win against Milwaukee in front of a sold-out crowd of 6,190. Individual game tickets for the upcoming season will go on sale later this summer, with season ticket packages already available.
