Wolves Beat Moose 6-3, Stretch Points Streak to Five
Chicago has climbed out of an 0-4-0-0 start, winning four of five with a pair of early power-play goals and a debut to remember for Charlie Cerrato.

The Chicago Wolves extended their points streak to five games Tuesday with a 6-3 morning win over the Manitoba Moose at Allstate Arena, after opening the season with four consecutive losses.
Felix Unger Sörum scored twice and added an assist. Pierre-Olivier Joseph, Bradly Nadeau, Justin Robidas and Gabriel Seger also scored. Charlie Cerrato had two assists in his professional debut.
The Wolves led 2-0 midway through the first period on a pair of power-play goals. Unger Sörum beat Manitoba goalie Thomas Milic to the glove side with a wrist shot from the high slot off a Cerrato faceoff win, giving Cerrato his first career assist. Joseph followed with a one-timer from the top of the right circle on a cross-ice feed from Stiven Sardarian.
Manitoba kept pushing back. Evan Nause made it 2-1 late in the first, and Lucas Wahlin cut the lead to one again in the second after Unger Sörum's second goal. Robidas restored the cushion on another power play, but Danny Zhilkin's goal made it 4-3 heading into the third.
Seger put it away early in the third, scoring shorthanded off a pass from Evan Vierling for his first goal of the season. Nadeau added an empty-netter late. Cayden Primeau stopped 20 shots for the win, while Milic made 24 saves in the loss.
"The guys played really well," Cerrato said.
"We knew we had a really good team in this locker room," he added. "It was a rough start but we put it past us and hopefully we’ll get on a roll here."
Chicago improved to 4-4-0-1. Manitoba fell to 7-3-0-0.
The Wolves host the Texas Stars on Saturday night at Allstate Arena (7 p.m. CDT).
