Red Wings host Blues for Hockeytown Halloween matinee
Detroit ends October at home Saturday, with both clubs coming off 4-1 wins.
The Detroit Red Wings host the St. Louis Blues at Little Caesars Arena on Saturday, Oct. 31, for Hockeytown Halloween. The game begins at 1 p.m. ET and closes Detroit’s two-game homestand.
Both teams enter after 4-1 victories Thursday: Detroit beat Chicago, while St. Louis defeated Boston to end a two-game losing streak. Saturday starts a four-game road trip for the Blues.
Detroit coach Todd McLellan identified the Blues’ puck-handling goaltenders as a challenge for his team’s attack. The clubs meet again in 11 days at Enterprise Center to finish their season series.
Detroit SportsNet and the Red Wings Radio Network carry the game in Detroit. Blues coverage is available on Blue Note+ and 101 ESPN.
