Colton Parayko will sit out Saturday’s game in Detroit because of an upper-body injury, the St. Louis Blues announced. The defenceman travelled with the team but is considered day to day.

Theo Lindstein will take his place against the Red Wings. St. Louis recalled Lindstein from Springfield on Friday.

Parayko briefly left Thursday’s victory over Boston before returning to finish the game. He logged 17:31 in the 4-1 win, then missed Friday’s practice, according to the Blues.
