PWHL's Four Expansion Teams Unveil Inaugural Jerseys With City Names
Detroit, Hamilton, Las Vegas and San Jose revealed their home and away sweaters, each with the city name stitched diagonally across the front.

The PWHL's four expansion teams, Detroit, Hamilton, Las Vegas and San Jose, unveiled their inaugural home and away jerseys Thursday, about two months before Opening Weekend on Dec. 5 and 6.
In keeping with the first eight PWHL teams' debut seasons, each sweater has the city's name stitched diagonally across the front. Team names and logos will be revealed before the 2026-27 season begins, and the league says they are expected on ice uniforms in 2027-28. The Las Vegas jerseys read "VEGAS."
Detroit goes with a black home jersey with silver metallic accents and white, silver and red stripes, a nod to the 313 area code. Ally Financial is the exclusive jersey patch partner. The white away jerseys debut Dec. 6 at Las Vegas (8 p.m. ET), and the blacks first appear at the home opener Dec. 12 against New York (12 p.m. ET).
Hamilton uses gold, deep red, burnt orange and cream, tied to the city's steel industry. The league says the gold home sweater calls back to the CFL's Tiger-Cats and the former Hamilton Bulldogs and Hamilton Tigers. The cream away jerseys debut Dec. 5 at Montréal (7 p.m. ET), and the golds come out for the home opener Dec. 13 against Ottawa (2 p.m. ET).
Las Vegas is in green, gold and navy, with a custom gold created for the team. Its home jerseys debut Dec. 6 against Detroit (8 p.m. ET), which is both the inaugural game and home opener.
San Jose has mandarin orange home jerseys with sky blue accents, a first for Bauer as a team's primary colour. They debut Dec. 5 against Minnesota (7 p.m. ET) at the team's home opener.
"Detroit, Hamilton, Las Vegas, and San Jose are each building their own connection with their communities, and these jerseys give fans another way to show their pride while carrying forward a PWHL tradition of putting the city name front and center in a team's inaugural season," said Amy Scheer, PWHL Executive Vice President of Business Operations.
Replica home jerseys, including personalised player options, will go on sale in the week before Opening Weekend. Jersey-inspired player name and number t-shirts are available now through the PWHL's online shop and in the arenas in Detroit, Las Vegas and San Jose. Bauer produces the jerseys as the league's official jersey partner.
