PWHL Las Vegas signs Lacey Eden to two-year deal

The fifth overall pick in the 2026 draft is under contract through the 2027-28 season.

PWHL Las Vegas announced Monday, Oct. 5, that it has signed forward Lacey Eden to a two-year Standard Player Agreement through the 2027-28 season. The expansion club selected her fifth overall in the 2026 PWHL Draft on June 17.

Eden finished her Wisconsin career with 105 goals and 140 assists in 178 games. In her graduate season, she led the nation with 77 points, including 29 goals and 48 assists in 41 games, according to the club's announcement.

General manager Dominique DiDia said Las Vegas valued Eden's skill, hockey sense and versatility when it selected her. Eden said she was "excited to help build a winning culture in this new organization."

Las Vegas now has 15 players under contract for its inaugural season. That group also includes Tessa Janecke, the third overall pick, who signed a two-year deal in July.

The team begins play at T-Mobile Arena on Sunday, Dec. 6, against PWHL Detroit at 5 p.m. PT.
