Panthers and JetBlue unveil 'Go Cats Go' aircraft
The club's colours and logos cover an Airbus A320 revealed at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.
The Florida Panthers and JetBlue introduced a team-themed Airbus A320 at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport on Thursday. The aircraft is named ‘Go Cats Go’ and forms part of the airline’s expanded partnership with the club.
Panthers general manager Bill Zito, captain Aleksander Barkov and forward Brad Marchand attended the unveiling, according to the team’s announcement. Club mascots Stanley C. Panther and Viktor E. Ratt later met passengers before the aircraft’s first departure from Florida.
The red fuselage carries Panthers branding beside the JetBlue name, with the club’s shield on the tail. The underside features the word FLORIDA and the leaping cat logo. A palm tree and hockey stick recall an earlier Panthers secondary logo.
The agreement also includes JetBlue sponsorship of the Champions Club and JetBlue Landing at Amerant Bank Arena.
