The Toronto Maple Leafs recalled forward Miles Wood from the AHL’s Toronto Marlies on Friday, Oct. 9, the club announced through its Leafs PR account.

Wood has not played for the Marlies this season, Sportsnet and TSN reported. His next opportunity to make his Maple Leafs debut comes Saturday in Colorado, where Toronto continues its three-game road trip.

The Maple Leafs have a 2-2-1 record following Thursday’s 4-3 shootout defeat in Las Vegas.
