Kemp records three assists as Penguins shut out Hershey 5-0

A three-assist performance from Phil Kemp helped the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins defeat the Hershey Bears 5-0 on Sunday at GIANT Center.

The Penguins scored twice in each of the first two periods and once in the third. Hershey finished with a 43-16 advantage in shots but could not find a goal, according to the Bears’ game report.

CBS Sports reported that Kemp entered the game with one goal in six appearances. His three assists brought his season total to four points through seven games, following a 10-point season over 70 games last year.
