Blue Jackets’ Sean Monahan leaves game in Buffalo with lower-body injury

Sean Monahan left Friday’s game at KeyBank Center with a lower-body injury. The Columbus Blue Jackets ruled him out for the rest of the game against the Buffalo Sabres.

On a Buffalo power play in the second period, Monahan got in front of a Rasmus Dahlin shot. He left after the block, Sportsnet reported. Monahan assisted on Kent Johnson’s first-period goal and logged 11:06 of ice time.
