Jets’ Josh Morrissey now week to week with upper-body injury
Scott Arniel updated the recovery outlook Thursday after initially listing the defenceman as day to day.
Josh Morrissey is now week to week with an upper-body injury, Winnipeg Jets coach Scott Arniel said Thursday, Oct. 15.
“Right now we’re going week-to-week and we’ll just play that timeline,” Arniel said, adding that the defenceman does not need surgery.
Morrissey was hurt late in the first period of Winnipeg’s Oct. 7 game against Colorado when he hit T.J. Hughes into the boards, and he left the game in the second period. The Jets first listed him as day to day.
The 31-year-old has three assists in four games this season.
