Scott Arniel directed questions about Connor Hellebuyck’s potential return to general manager Kevin Cheveldayoff after Winnipeg’s loss to Carolina on Saturday, Sportsnet reported.

Arniel said he was concentrating on reviewing the game and preparing for St. Louis. He would address the goaltender’s situation when it arose.

Kyle Connor declined to discuss the issue immediately after the loss, according to Sportsnet. Adam Lowry said the team would need to speak with management and the coaching staff about what happens next.

Sportsnet reported that Hellebuyck’s suspension is scheduled to end Oct. 23. His return to the club remains uncertain.
